NordPass Free is okay, but limits are real
I tried out NordPass Free to see if it would work for my needs before committing to a paid plan. While the basic functionality for storing passwords is fine, the limitations, especially around sharing, are quite restrictive. I know it's the free tier, but I found myself looking at 1Password and LastPass pretty quickly, which offer more even in their trials.
So close to perfect!
I was totally panicking when I couldn't remember my NordPass Master Password, but then I found this coupon and figured it was a sign to upgrade and get things sorted. The Autofill Assistant is a lifesaver, seriously! It makes logging into everything so quick and easy. I also love the Emergency Access feature, which gives me peace of mind. Getting it installed on my laptop and phone was also quick enough. It does what it says – manages passwords and auto-fills which is a huge time-saver. However, I ran into a couple of issues. The browser extension sometimes acts a bit wonky, not always popping up when I need it, and I have to refresh the page. Also, the mobile app can be a little slow to sync sometimes. Nothing deal-breaking, but it's noticeable. Customer service was okay when I had a question about billing, took them a day or so to get back to me, which isn't the fastest. For the price, it's a solid option, but there's definitely room for improvement on the user experience side.

The Shared Folders feature is super useful for Netflix and other shared accounts, no more bugging each other for passwords. I did have a question about emergency access and support got back to me within a day, which was decent. Quality seems good, everything syncs fast. Only minor thing is sometimes autofill on a new site takes an extra click to get right, but it's not a big deal.

This is my third year using NordPass Premium. I initially tried the free version then upgraded. It's been consistently reliable. I really like the Biometric Authentication on my phone; it's so quick. I also upgraded to the 2-year plan this time for the discount. The Password Health Checker is a great reminder to update old, weak passwords. It just works, same as it always has. No complaints.

Not really impressed, to be honest

Setting it up wasn't too bad, pretty straightforward actually. But then, things got a bit messy. I had a bunch of saved logins that just wouldn't import properly, even after trying a few times. It was super frustrating having to manually put them all in again. And then, it kept bugging out on my work laptop, forcing me to log in every single time I opened my browser, which is a real pain when you're trying to get stuff done quickly. It feels like it's not quite ready for prime time. I really wanted to like it, but these constant little issues are making me rethink things. Probably wouldn't tell my friends to switch over just yet.
